Our clients wished to demolish the existing house in this prime, seafront location and to build a contemporary house more suited to their lifestyle.

The new house is arranged over two floors and in two wings separated by a central staircase atrium. On the ground floor there is an indoor swimming pool with guest and family bedrooms. The living accommodation is arranged on the first floor to take advantage of the sea views and south-facing aspect, with a large open plan terrace.

The elegant design seeks to reflect the flat coastal nature of the site and the distant horizon. External materials have been chosen to add texture and detail to the simple form, whilst being durable and low maintenance in this exposed environment.
