    Roger Saville

Roger graduated from South Bank Polytechnic in 1976 with a degree in architecture and then continued with a post-graduate diploma. Roger worked in local government on leaving full-time education and during that period became a chartered architect.

Through his interest in community and socially inclusive architecture, he joined Miller Associates in 1989 to concentrate on public sports and leisure architecture. A desire to create better quality architecture and an interest in sustainable design led to the creation of Saville Jones in 1993.

Roger led the practice in leisure consultancy, being responsible in 1997 for the first Monitoring and Evaluation of completed lottery funded sports projects for Sport England. This was the first of four contracts and over 500 projects were assessed by Roger and the Saville Jones team. The expert knowledge of sports buildings and communication skills lead to Roger giving lectures and seminars for Sport England and SAPCA.

Roger is also an accomplished musician, enjoying singing and organ playing.
